We did some team triathlons. In London I fell off my bike 25miles in, but I got back on under pure adrenaline and finished the race, though it made me realise, it’s not about being competitive against others, it’s about what you achieve for yourself and finishing each race you start. A U Fit member recommended the studio to me in 2017. I needed someone to push me.
I’m a food technologist and my job was a lot of travelling, so grabbing food from service stations and having food at suppliers, which was mostly sandwiches, cakes and things like that. These days, as long as I’m active and train, then weight is not so much of a problem. I train to stay fit, get strong and it helps keep me mentally focused and well.
